Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at The Planet D. Every item you order is made just for you. Because of this personalized, made-to-order process, our policies differ from traditional retail — so here’s everything you need to know before placing an order.

Made-to-Order Products

All our products are custom-printed after you place your order. That means we don’t keep stock, and we don’t accept general returns or exchanges due to sizing issues, address errors, or changes of heart. Please double-check all sizing guides and shipping details before ordering.

Lost Orders

If your order appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We’ll be happy to send a replacement order at no additional charge.

Returned to Sender

If your order is returned to sender for any reason — including an incorrect address, refusal by the recipient, or failure to pick up the package — we cannot resend the original item. Here’s how we handle these cases:

  • Place a new order within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.

  • Contact us with your new order number and explanation.

  • We will refund the product price of your new order, so you’re only paying for shipping a second time.

Orders may be returned to sender for the following reasons:

  • Wrong Address: If the courier deems the address insufficient, the order will be returned and disposed of.

  • Rejected by Recipient: If the shipment is rejected at delivery, it will not be reshipped.

  • Unclaimed: If the order is not picked up from a post office or delivery point in time, it may be returned or destroyed.

Quality Issues

We care about quality and want you to be thrilled with your order. If you receive an item with quality concerns — such as print issues, damage, or defects — please contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.

If the problem is validated by our team, we’ll send a complimentary replacement or offer a refund if a replacement isn’t possible.

Please note: As our products are custom-made, we cannot accept returns for sizing issues or subjective concerns (e.g., "not what I expected").

Color Consistency

We strive for consistency, but due to the nature of digital printing, minor variations in color can occur. These are influenced by:

  • Printer settings

  • Paper or fabric type

  • Humidity levels

  • Machine cleaning cycles

These variations fall within industry-accepted tolerance levels and do not qualify as defects.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item (not due to user error or the content provided), we will cover the cost of a replacement. This includes:

  • Physical damage

  • Incorrect quantity

  • Quality flaws
